Eclipse tuning pays off...

I finally decided to get Corr to tune my 98 eclipse RS that is now turboed. I had recently put it on the dyno and made 369 whp, but it fell flat on its face as i got closer to the redline. I was able to run a 11.8 @ 117 on that tune under perfect track conditions. After Corr tuned the car I didnt have an increase of peak horsepower but it made much more power all the way to the rev limit. Went back to the track lastnight and ran a 11.7 @ 120 on a horrible track. I couldnt launch and i kept having to get off the gas because i would get loose.

I was extremely happy with the what Corr did to my car and would highly recommend them to everyone.

Travis, thanks for your support and nice build u have there man, I think that there might even be more in it with a better EMS as we discussed. Good to hear that the car's tune behaved on the track and got some good passes last night.

Bought another turbo and IC, in no hurry to put it on though. Trying not to drive it too much before IFO.

I have some big plans after IFO, so we shall see I guess.

thanks for the kind words, travis. with all the mechanical problems you had at the shop, I'm glad that you were able to pull of some great times. As my brother said, hopefully you'll be able to get a better more complete standalone for your race car and put some better times down since I know its capable of more. sweet runs.
