Just another work day! :)
I thought Id share some things I see at work. I subcontract for companies that do contract work, for FEMA.
First, I deactivate the trailer, which entails: cutting the straps, removing the anchors, removing the blocks/pads, remove the sewer piping, remove the steps, remove the temporary electric pole (if required), clean up the site, fill ruts, ect...
Then, I haul the trailer away. But, before FEMA will accept it, at their staging yard, .....the inside must be spotless, holding tanks flushed, water heater drained, ect...
So, I pick up this one,.... and this is what Im facing. Sadly enough, ....this is somewhat typical. Ive actually seen worse. In fact I have one now with bloody rags stuffed in the toilet, and another with feces filled rags in the toilet.
This picture doesnt quite do justice. Alot of the black spots, are maggets. And the smells, ...you cant describe. Sometimes the stink is SO bad, it sticks to your clothes, the rest of the day. This has to look like new, before its turned in.
Mice droppings in every cabinet, and on every flat surface.
I cant disclose who I contract for, or what it pays, ...but Ill tell you IT'S NOT ENOUGH! Not even close. |

Bet you can't guess who occupied that? 
Despise who may have occupied this, I think this "sterotype" crosses all genders and races but it never surprises me how often alot of people who require government support never take care of anything given to them. That's just disgusting and I think in severe cases like this the government ought to take the cost of that trailer out of their welfare checks. It's one thing if there was an attempt made to keep up with the maintenance but that trailor shouldn't have looked like that after only 2 or 3 years. De-evolution at work.

Id love too, but I wouldnt get reimbursed, ...so I cant afford it. I do employ homeless people, and a couple crackheads. Theyre the only ones willing to do it, ...but they turned down these trailers.
Im going back to JUST truck driving, after tomorrow. I cant take it.

damn, i took care of my trailer. all i did with it was smoke, drink, fuck, and eat. in the end it still came out clean but not like that. i bleached everything to make sure it was cleaned.
